Following the symposium, learners will be able to: 

  • Describe clinically relevant differences between BTK inhibitors, including covalent and non-covalent binding and selectivity, and their implications for treatment of CLL.
  • Recall key clinical data supporting BTK inhibitor-based treatment strategies for first-line and relapsed/refractory CLL.
  • Apply evidence-based considerations for selecting BTK inhibitor-based treatment strategies for patients with CLL, considering prior therapies, disease and molecular risk features, resistance mutations, comorbidities, and patient-related factors.
  • Discuss the role of BTK inhibitors within evolving treatment paradigms for CLL.
